Target Beauty Box - In Your Skin

I haven't purchased a Target beauty box in quite a while, (I had to look, the last one I bought was in February of 2018!) because they just haven't had anything interesting. There were some random ones in store (like the one below) so I thought I would give this one a try.
Garnier SkinActive Rose Mist Spray: I don't really get the point of facial sprays, but this was just okay. It smells okay but didn't really seem to do anything. The sprayer wasn't great, but I wasn't expecting much from a little sample bottle. It just really didn't seem to do anything.
Native Lavender & Rose Deodorant: I've tried Native deodorant in the past and had a horrible reaction to it, so I wasn't interested in trying it again! As much as I would like to find a great natural deodorant, I have tried SO many and always seem to have horrible reactions to them.
Method Body Wash Pure Peace: I liked this body wash. The scent is really nice yet not overpowering. Sometimes floral scents can be overpowering and perfumey, but this is nice! It's not a scent I would have picked out myself but I did like it. It lathers nicely and doesn't dry out my skin.
Pixi Rose Tonic: I've tried the Pixi Glow Tonic in the past and thought it was fine, but for some reason the Rose Tonic made my face break out. I was really disappointed by this as it was the only product in this box that I really wanted to try!
Garnier SkinActive Rose Water 3-in-1 Moisturizer Packette:  I was interested in trying this mask but it smelled so horrible I had to wash it off! It's super oily and greasy feeling which made it hard to wash off. But overall the smell was just so off-putting it I just couldn't stand it.
I was really disappointed with this box! Basically the only product I really wanted to try was the Pixi Rose Tonic but that was a disappointment. I did like the body wash, so I am glad I got at least one good product out of this box! I did have a coupon when I purchased this box so it was only $3.50, so I don't feel like I wasted too much money.

Have you tried any of these products?

Target Beauty Box - Best of Boots Review

I haven't gotten a Target beauty box in quite a while. This one, though, featured some of Boot's (a UK pharmacy) bestsellers from top British brands.
Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Body Butter: This body butter is okay. It's a bit greasy (which I expected) and really creamy, but it was the strong scent that I didn't like. I put some on at night and the next morning it was still just as strong.
Soap & Glory Sexy XXL Lip Gloss: I don't really care for lip gloss in the first place as I don't like the greasy slimy feeling of it, but I did not like this lip gloss at all. When a lip gloss has a CAUTION: THIS LIP GLOSS WILL TINGLE on the back I was a bit skeptical, but I was not expecting to feel like I just rubbed hot peppers all over my lips. It felt more like a burning sensation than tingling. I don't know why anyone would like that? Not for me.

Sleek MakeUP Eyeshadow Palette: I liked this eyeshadow palette. I've actually never had a palette with this many colors. Reason being the cost vs. assortment of colors I would actually use doesn't typically work for me. I actually liked almost all the colors in this one and it has been fun to play around with. The colors are bold and long lasting. I also haven't really noticed any creasing after wearing all day.

When I ordered this I wasn't expecting some giant full sized palette, but I was not expecting it to be so tiny either! I had to get a picture with something for reference because it's practically doll sized.
No7 Restore & Renew Face & Neck Multi Action Serum: I liked this serum okay. The formula is creamy and it rubs in well. It felt nice and light on my skin and didn't irritate my skin at all. I probably wouldn't pay full price for it, but I liked the sample.
No7 Airbrush Away Primer: I thought this primer did a pretty good job. I am always interested in primers that will reduce the appearance of pores and this worked well. I've been using the Maybelline Instant Pore Eraser and I just don't care for it. This one is much better! It's not quite as good at minimizing pores as I would like, but it's not too bad. It's more of a cream instead of a gel and doesn't have a nasty smell like the Maybelline one does.
Botanics Shine Away Iconic Clay Mask - Willowbark: This mud mask was super runny! Like, trying to rub water on your face. It was running all down my hand and was very messy. I was not expecting that as most mud masks are, you know, mud consistency. That said, I did like the mask. It did seem to work well and was gentle on my skin. It wasn't drying either. I also liked that you only have to leave it on for 10 minutes, so it's great if you want to just put it on before a shower or don't have a lot of time.

June Target Beauty Box Review

Masque Bar Soothing Sheet Mask: I did not like this mask at all! First off, I noticed it had an unpleasant perfume scent. This was also somewhat of a difficult mask to put on as it had a lot of weird cut outs and flaps all over (nothing like in the image!) And once it was on, my face felt like it was burning. Needless to say, I ended up taking it off pretty quickly!
Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport Sunscreen: I haven't tried this yet, but Hawaiian Tropic is usually a pretty good brand so I imagine it will work!

NYX Gotcha Covered Concealer in Medium: This color was way too dark for me and the formula was really thick and gooey. It seemed to have okay coverage, but since it was so thick it just didn't blend well.
john frieda beach blonde sea salt spray: This did absolutely nothing for me. I followed the directions exactly and I just didn't really get any curl. Immediately after spraying it on, I had a little bit of wave, but as soon as it dried it kind of straightened out. The scent is okay and it didn't leave too much of a residue. But unfortunately this just didn't work for me.

The directions say to use it on dry hair, but maybe it would work better with wet? Then again, it says its for beach blonde, and I'm not blonde, so maybe that was the problem! ;)

Schick Hydro Silk Women's Razor: This razor is pretty nice! I didn't feel the razor blade at all (Since we've all used crappy razors that feel like they're scraping your skin off!) It literally glides across your skin and the moisturizing strip left my skin feeling soft and smooth. Probably my favorite product in this box. Especially since good razors are expensive (but worth it!) and it's nice to get one practically for free!
Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Clad in Plaid: This color is pretty bright for my liking. I have used Sinful Colors nail polish in the past and liked the formula, but I will probably pass on this shade.

Aussie 3-Minute Miracle Treatment Conditioner: This is a product I am already using and I really like it. It does a great job giving my hair moisture and leaving my hair feeling smooth and soft. The only negative is the scent it a little strong. So if you are sensitive to smells you might want to smell it for yourself in store before buying. But otherwise I definitely recommend it!

April Target Naturals Beauty Box Review

Juice Organics Deluxe-Size Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner: This shampoo and conditioner was okay. It left my hair feeling a little bit dry, and I didn't notice any difference in volume. It does have a nice scent to it. But overall just an okay product.

I guess if I am comparing this to organic shampoo and conditioners in general (which I have had VERY bad luck with. I have tried just about every brand and they all leave my hair feeling extremely dry or extremely oily.) than I would consider this an excellent product. But if I am comparing this to regular shampoo (like Pantene or something) than it's just okay.
Raw Sugar Lemon Sugar Body Wash: I'm not really sold on this body wash. The product itself was okay, lemon just isn't my favorite scent for a body wash. I don't mind lemon as a candle or even a hand soap, but this just smelled a little too much like lemon pledge for my liking. I would probably try this brand in another scent though.

Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Mud Mask: The mask smelled okay, and I did get two uses out of it as there is quite a bit of mud in the package. It did cause my skin to break out a bit, but I'm not sure if that is because it actually pulled stuff out of my skin as part of the cleansing process, or if it was because of the mud itself.

ACURE Pore Clarifying Red Clay Scrub: I really liked this cleanser. It has an interesting smell to it, and the cleanser itself is a pretty color! It left my skin feeling really soft and smooth. I would probably go out and buy this.
Hello Extra Whitening Pure Mint Fluoride Toothpaste: I did not like this toothpaste at all. It's advertised as being natural, but I didn't care for some of the ingredients in it, such as sodium lauryl sulfate. The toothpaste itself is runny and oddly enough, I couldn't taste any mint! Mint is such a strong flavor, especially in toothpastes, I thought it odd I couldn't taste it at all. And since I couldn't taste the mint, my breath didn't feel fresh or clean afterwards.
Burt's Bees White Tea Extract Facial Cleansing Towelettes: These wipes worked pretty good at removing makeup. I had tried some Burt's Bees makeup remover wipes in the past and they left my skin feeling really sticky, but these did not do that.

SheaMoisture Kukui Nut Facial Cream Cleanser + Face & Neck Cream: I haven't tried this.

Overall this wasn't too bad of a box! I was excited when I saw that Target had this naturals box, as I typically try to stick with all natural/organic beauty products. Most of them can be a little expensive on their own, so it was nice to get a bunch of samples in one box!
