Top 10 Most Read Blog Posts of 2019

Today I thought it would be fun to share my top 10 most read blog posts from 2019! I'm always a little surprised at which posts receive the most pageviews. It usually isn't posts I would expect!

Typically my Five for Friday posts receive a lot of views since I link up with other bloggers, but besides that, it's always a random assortment of posts that receive the most views!

Most of these posts are not ones I would have picked as ones that were my favorite. That's not to say I don't like my own posts (because I work hard on them!) but I guess they're just different than my own personal favorites. So next week I'll be sharing a list of my own favorite blogs posts from the past year!

I did skip over listing my Five for Friday posts because I wanted to just include unique posts that received the most page views. So starting with number 10...

1. Visiting the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, NC - Part 1 - Part 1 got way more views than Part 2 for some reason!
So it looks like travel, photography, shopping, and creative type posts were a favorite this past year! I found it a bit surprising that 4 out of 10 posts were from when I was in North Carolina. All 3 of my Outer Banks posts and then our visit to the JC Raulston Arboretum. I guess people like North Carolina?

So is there anything you would like to see more of? What kind of blog posts do you like reading about? I'm always up for ideas!

Five for Friday

Hello and welcome to my Five for Friday! I am Linking up with Bright on a BudgetDella DevotedBYBMG and Andrea!

1. I picked up these pretty flowers at Trader Joe's last week and I just thought they were so pretty for Valentine's day! Trader Joe's always has the best flowers.
2. I made French macarons last weekend! They are SO time consuming to make but they're pretty delicious. This is my third time making them and I'm going to have to try a different recipe next time as they still haven't turned out quite how I would like. Normally I would blame my technique, but I know and have read enough about making them that it's the recipe and not me! Anyways, they still turned out pretty good and they were very much enjoyed!
3. I bought these Belgian chocolates from Trader Joe's at Christmas time and we were surprised at how good they were, so I was happy to find them again for Valentine's day! They are SO good! Way better than Lindt chocolates we've decided and they're only $10 for a box of 24 chocolates! So if you happen to be by a Trader Joe's, be sure to pick up a box!
4. My mom and I had a couple of errands to run in Virginia Beach so we decided to go out to the beach and go for a walk. This time of year is so nice as there is hardly anyone there! The weather wasn't too bad either!
5. In case you missed it, on Wednesday I shared my January Photo A Day pictures!

My January 2020 Photo A Day Pictures

I finally finished my January pictures! I did not start this month's challenge until over half-way through the month. Ooops! But that was because I was so far behind on getting my December post together. I'm all caught up for February though! Anyways, I'm sure no one cares ;) So on to my January pictures...

Favorite Pictures From 2019

2019 brought quite a few different photo taking opportunities. My favorite, I think, was visiting the national arboretum last spring! It was so beautiful and there were so many flowers it was a fun place to take pictures at! I also got to visit the Outer Banks for the first time, as well as visiting several other gardens, and visiting a couple of missions in San Antonio!
