Target Beauty Box - In Your Skin

I haven't purchased a Target beauty box in quite a while, (I had to look, the last one I bought was in February of 2018!) because they just haven't had anything interesting. There were some random ones in store (like the one below) so I thought I would give this one a try.
Garnier SkinActive Rose Mist Spray: I don't really get the point of facial sprays, but this was just okay. It smells okay but didn't really seem to do anything. The sprayer wasn't great, but I wasn't expecting much from a little sample bottle. It just really didn't seem to do anything.
Native Lavender & Rose Deodorant: I've tried Native deodorant in the past and had a horrible reaction to it, so I wasn't interested in trying it again! As much as I would like to find a great natural deodorant, I have tried SO many and always seem to have horrible reactions to them.
Method Body Wash Pure Peace: I liked this body wash. The scent is really nice yet not overpowering. Sometimes floral scents can be overpowering and perfumey, but this is nice! It's not a scent I would have picked out myself but I did like it. It lathers nicely and doesn't dry out my skin.
Pixi Rose Tonic: I've tried the Pixi Glow Tonic in the past and thought it was fine, but for some reason the Rose Tonic made my face break out. I was really disappointed by this as it was the only product in this box that I really wanted to try!
Garnier SkinActive Rose Water 3-in-1 Moisturizer Packette:  I was interested in trying this mask but it smelled so horrible I had to wash it off! It's super oily and greasy feeling which made it hard to wash off. But overall the smell was just so off-putting it I just couldn't stand it.
I was really disappointed with this box! Basically the only product I really wanted to try was the Pixi Rose Tonic but that was a disappointment. I did like the body wash, so I am glad I got at least one good product out of this box! I did have a coupon when I purchased this box so it was only $3.50, so I don't feel like I wasted too much money.

Have you tried any of these products?

Target Beauty Box - Best of Boots Review

I haven't gotten a Target beauty box in quite a while. This one, though, featured some of Boot's (a UK pharmacy) bestsellers from top British brands.
Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Body Butter: This body butter is okay. It's a bit greasy (which I expected) and really creamy, but it was the strong scent that I didn't like. I put some on at night and the next morning it was still just as strong.
Soap & Glory Sexy XXL Lip Gloss: I don't really care for lip gloss in the first place as I don't like the greasy slimy feeling of it, but I did not like this lip gloss at all. When a lip gloss has a CAUTION: THIS LIP GLOSS WILL TINGLE on the back I was a bit skeptical, but I was not expecting to feel like I just rubbed hot peppers all over my lips. It felt more like a burning sensation than tingling. I don't know why anyone would like that? Not for me.

Sleek MakeUP Eyeshadow Palette: I liked this eyeshadow palette. I've actually never had a palette with this many colors. Reason being the cost vs. assortment of colors I would actually use doesn't typically work for me. I actually liked almost all the colors in this one and it has been fun to play around with. The colors are bold and long lasting. I also haven't really noticed any creasing after wearing all day.

When I ordered this I wasn't expecting some giant full sized palette, but I was not expecting it to be so tiny either! I had to get a picture with something for reference because it's practically doll sized.
No7 Restore & Renew Face & Neck Multi Action Serum: I liked this serum okay. The formula is creamy and it rubs in well. It felt nice and light on my skin and didn't irritate my skin at all. I probably wouldn't pay full price for it, but I liked the sample.
No7 Airbrush Away Primer: I thought this primer did a pretty good job. I am always interested in primers that will reduce the appearance of pores and this worked well. I've been using the Maybelline Instant Pore Eraser and I just don't care for it. This one is much better! It's not quite as good at minimizing pores as I would like, but it's not too bad. It's more of a cream instead of a gel and doesn't have a nasty smell like the Maybelline one does.
Botanics Shine Away Iconic Clay Mask - Willowbark: This mud mask was super runny! Like, trying to rub water on your face. It was running all down my hand and was very messy. I was not expecting that as most mud masks are, you know, mud consistency. That said, I did like the mask. It did seem to work well and was gentle on my skin. It wasn't drying either. I also liked that you only have to leave it on for 10 minutes, so it's great if you want to just put it on before a shower or don't have a lot of time.

December Ipsy Glam Bag Review

TRÈSTIQUE  Mini Brow Pencil in Americano: I found the color of this to be just right for me. And while the product is easy to use, it does take a little while to apply. The color doesn't go on very easily and I have to go over my brows quite a few times to see any color. Once it's applied though it lasts all day and I like how it looks. I have very sparse brows so this does a good job. Unlike other products I've used this does not look streaky and it has a very natural look. Overall a nice product.
DIRTY LITTLE SECRET COSMETICS Eyeshadow Crayon in Fetch: I really like the idea of an eyeshadow crayon, as I think it would be perfect for traveling, but I didn't care for this color. It just looked too pinkish/orange and shimmery and didn't look good on me.
SMASHBOX COSMETICS Be Legendary Lipstick in Legendary: I liked this lipstick. I was a little disappointed that the color wasn't quite as bold on as it looked in the tube (it went on lighter than I would have liked.) but overall I liked it. It is a creamy consistency so it did run a bit (will have to try a lip liner next time.). It also wiped off really easily and I didn't notice it to be drying, which is an issue I typically find with lipsticks.
M·A·C  In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara in Black Extreme: I really didn't care for this mascara! I like trying new mascaras despite the fact I am picky about them. The biggest complaint about this one is the bristles on the brush are SO sharp! It's like a bunch of tiny knives stabbing you in the eye if you happen to get too close to the lash root.

It does a good job at separating the lashes, but it doesn't lengthen or make my lashes look full. This mascara also is not buildable. I  put on multiple coats and it didn't really look like I was wearing any at all. I also thought the packaging was pretty cheap looking for a higher end brand. I mean it was literally a tube. Like a tube of toothpaste or something.
FEEL Brilliant Bamboo Charcoal Facial Sheet Mask: This sheet mask was okay. Since it's charcoal I thought it would be messy but the serum is actually clear (although the sheet itself is black). My skin was quite red after using (like it was irritating my skin) but I didn't notice any itchiness or dryness. I really didn't notice any difference after using this mask. I probably won't use the second one.
Overall this was a pretty decent bag. There weren't really any stand out products for me. Just an okay bag.

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments!

October Ipsy Glam Bag Review

tarte deluxe lifted sweatproof mascara: When I first opened this I had a hard time telling if it was black or brown, and upon looking at other reviews it seems most people agree it is closer to a brown color. Besides the fact it's not black like I prefer, it's really just an average mascara. Okay is really the only word I can think of to describe it. I know a lot of people really love tarte mascaras, but I just am not a fan.
TONYMOLY Peach Hand Cream: This hand cream rubbed in really quickly and did not leave my hands feeling greasy at all. It smells quite nice and is actually pretty moisturizing-more than I thought it was going to be.
Cute Balms Lip Balm in Vanilla: The scent/flavor of this is nice and the macaron container was cute. Had this been in a tube I would have liked it a lot better as I am not really a fan of lip balm you apply with your finger. But overall the lip balm is fairly moisturizing.
Nail Medic Charcoal Infused Nail Polish in Volcanic Ash: While this definitely still has that nail polish smell, it didn't seem to be as strong as most others. While gray isn't a color a typically go for, it did look nice once it was on. I was expecting since it was a lighter color I would have to do several coats, one coat was enough when applying. I did start to notice a couple of small chips after day 2, but I am on day 4 of wearing it and only have a couple of small chips.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion: This does glide on super easily and is quite bold. On the other hand, since it does glide on so easily it is really easy to make mistakes when applying! It also does not sharpen to a fine point, closer to crayon like than a pencil. I prefer to use this for lining my waterline.
Overall this was a pretty decent bag. There wasn't really any products that I just loved, but the only one I really didn't care for was the mascara. The rest of the items were nice. Nothing too exciting but all were fun to try.
