Five for Friday

Hello and welcome to my Five for Friday! I hope you all had a great week! I am linking up with Cup of Tea , Della Devoted , and Bright on a Budget!

1. The last couple of days I've been deep cleaning my bedroom. Basically just going thorough and getting rid of stuff. I'm up to three paper grocery bags already! It's mostly clothes and books that I had no idea what to do with, so it's all going to get donated. I still have some more work to do though, but it's nice to have a little more space in my closet!

2. And speaking of cleaning, I came across some earrings that I have but don't really wear anymore; I wanted a place to display them, so I used this tutorial I found on Pinterest and made a jewelry box!

I got the box at Hobby Lobby for $1.99, and I already had all the rest of the stuff (paint, felt, and scissors.) It was super easy and I really like how it turned out!
3. After quite a long time of thinking about it, I finally went ahead and bought a Home T! I'd been thinking about it for a really long time, and kept going back and forth over the price (since it's definitely more than I would typically spend for a t-shirt) but I just had to finally do it!
I mean, every once in a while you just have to..
I did get free shipping, so that definitely helps! I HATE paying for shipping! I don't know why, but it just aggravates me. Maybe I'm spoiled having Amazon prime! Haha! Anyone else the same way?

4. I've been posting a few of my Seattle pictures to my Instagram, and I've been playing around with a few hastags. I've been a bit surprised at the amount of likes I've been getting! Even by some photographers with huge followings!

It was kinda neat to get a like from one of the Seattle news stations though. I mean, I know it's probably some intern sitting around liking photos, but it's still pretty satisfying to see!
5. In case you missed it, I shared the last of the pictures from our trip to Seattle! I posted about the Museum of Flight and the Ballard Locks!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Museum of Flight in Seattle

On our last day in Seattle, we headed out to the Museum of Flight. A lot of new stuff had been added since our last visit quite a few years ago, so it was definitely time to check it all out!

The museum was huge. A lot bigger than we remembered! There was SO much to see! We spent most of the day there and didn't even get to see everything. So if you plan on going, definitely plan on needing a full day! Or at least most of the day if you plan on skipping some things. We even got to go on a former Air Force One! Read on to see more about that!
Replica of the Lockheed Electra 10E Amelia Earhart was flying when she went missing.
This was the first presidential jet plane and was in use from 1959 - 1962. After that, it remained in the presidential fleet until 1996.

Ballard Locks

After a delicious dinner at Patxi's in Ballard, we headed over to the Ballard Locks to walk around.

My brother, sister, and I had never been to the Locks before, so it was neat to explore. One thing we all miss about living in Washington is being near the water.

When I started going through my pictures, I was surprised that I didn't take as many pictures here as I thought! I was more interested in the flowers in the park nearby. Haha!

Anyways, it started raining shortly after we got to there, so we didn't stay for too long.
We didn't get to see any boats go through the locks, but HERE is a video if you are interested in seeing how it works.

Have a great week!
