Target haul

So I ended up at Target several times within the last week, so I thought I would share some of the fun things I picked up!

The Dollar Spot, of course, is always great! I really haven't bought anything from the Dollar Spot in quite a while, there just hasn't been anything I liked. But last time I found quite a few things!
(Unfortunately, Target does not list their Dollar Spot items online, otherwise I would like to them!)
I bought this memo board from Ikea and needed some magnets for it. These are perfect!
I use washi tape all the time for scrapbooking and crafting, so it's always nice when I can find it for cheap! Some of them can be pretty expensive!
I had found some of these baskets in the Dollar Spot a few months ago and I really liked them. They're pretty good sized and they fit perfectly on my desk and book shelf. I had wanted to buy a couple more but I hadn't seen them for a while so I was happy to find this one randomly down by the home stuff!
It's hard to tell in the picture, but this shirt has little birds on it. I just thought it was really cute! I just like stuff with birds for some reason, so I couldn't pass it up! And it was $9, so it's a pretty good price too!
I wear cardigans pretty much all the time! These were on sale last week so I made sure to pick up a couple. They're heavy enough to keep you warm but not too thick either. Now if only it would cool down enough to be able to wear them!
Since I recently got a new car, I thought it would be a good idea to get a first Aid Kit  for it. This one was only $9.99 and has over 125 items in it. It has full boxes of bandaids, and those alone sell around $4! This just has a lot of great stuff and I would definitely recommend it! I hope I don't need it any time soon, but it's definitely a great thing to have!
I bought the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist deep conditioner a while ago and really liked it, so I thought I would try the 3 Minute Miracle Soft! At around $3, it's a really great product!
I only bought these Goldfish Crackers because I wanted a snack!
And last but not least, I bought these Command hooks. These are SO handy! We are renting right now and these are so nice to be able to hang things up without damaging the walls! We use these all over our house and they are just so nice. I could do a whole post on uses for Command hooks!

So that's it for my Target haul! What have you bought at Target lately? Any new or exciting products?

Tacoma Museum of Glass

We had planned on spending our first day in Washington by visiting either Mount Rainier or Hurricane Ridge, but unfortunately both of those places were fogged in! We were pretty disappointed about that because those are two of the few places left in Washington I haven't visited yet!

We didn't really have a plan C, so we hurried to find something to do and my mom suggested the museum of glass in Tacoma. None of us had ever been before, so we decided to check it out!

The museum had a live glass making demonstration which was neat to watch. I'm not sure what they were making, but it was  pretty interesting to see how it's done!

During the next part of the museum, there was a lot of different exhibits where you could vote on your favorite piece. Different artists from around the world (although almost all of them were from the Northwest.) enter their pieces for a chance to win a residency at the museum.

This was the piece my brother, sister, and I voted on. I liked the different colors, shapes, and textures.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to be, but I had to share because it's just so dang freaky!

Five for Friday

Hello and welcome to my Five for Friday! I am linking up with Cup of Tea , Della Devoted , and Bright on a Budget!

1. It's been an interesting week! Last Saturday, my parents and I drove down to Salt Lake City to look at cars. We left at 6am (insert crying emoji. Why do people get up that early on purpose?) since it's a 5 hour drive one way.

Anyways, the first car at the first lot we went to ended up being the right car! It had the lowest miles out of anything we had looked at, super clean inside and out (with the exception of some scratches by the back bumper. But really not bad considering other cars we'd seen!) and my dad literally could not find anything wrong with it! We got a really good deal on it since it'd been on the lot for a while. I'm so glad to finally have that chore over and done with!

This is just a picture I took on my phone when we were driving down. That's the moon with the sun coming up behind us. It was a lot more colorful in real life!
2. While in Salt Lake City, we made sure to stop at In-n-Out! In-n-Out and Jason's Deli are two or our favorite places and we always make sure to stop when we're near one! Unfortunately we didn't make it to Jason's Deli this time, but I'm glad we made it to In-n-Out!
3. In other adulting related news, I spent over an hour with USAA setting up my car insurance. Insurance is not a fun aspect of being an adult! But definitely not something you want to go without! I had my mom listen in to part of it because I wanted to make sure I did everything right!

I had talked to a really helpful guy when I had called a couple weeks ago to get quotes, but since I didn't get the cars I had gotten quotes on, I had to start over. And I don't think the guy I talked to the second time knew 100% what he was doing.

So just a note, if you do talk to someone about insurance or whatever, make sure you get their name or extension so you can have them help you again!

4. Well, I finally stared watching Stranger Things on Netflix! I just finished the fourth episode, and. Just. Wow. It's definitely interesting, but so good!

Could someone, without spoiling anything, tell me if the show explains everything in the end? Or is it one of those shows where you get a little information but have to wait until the next season?

And also, I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing the Jean-Ralphio/Steve Harrington resemblance! HAHA!
5. Yesterday was a long day at work, but it's a little more bearable when your boss brings everyone milkshakes!
Hope you all have a great weekend!
