1. It's been a busy week around here! Work has been kind of crazy, we've been having problems with equipment, supplies have been back-ordered, as well as some other annoying stuff. Sometimes a bunch of little things going wrong is worse than one big thing. It's all just enough to drive you crazy! On top of all that it's been pretty hot around here. It's been in the 90's and it was 100º on Wednesday. It's supposed to cool down this weekend though. Anyways, I am excited for the weekend!
2. I received my Target beauty box yesterday as well as the mens' box I ordered for my brother. I'm excited to try everything inside! I'll have a review up soon!
3. This past Wednesday night, the small group at our church had a barbeque. My brother and I went and it was pretty fun! It was nice getting to meet some new people and chat with others that we already knew. It's been SO hard trying to meet people here so it's nice to have a group to attend to try to get to know people. And the salad I brought was a big hit; it always makes me feel good when people like my cooking! :)
4. This was too funny not to share. My brother ordered a finance textbook from the Amazon marketplace, and the book never showed up. He ended up getting his money back, but one month later he gets a beat up envelope in the mail with this odd CD inside.
There was no note or explanation or anything. The CD case is broken and the CD has some scratches on it. We can't figure out why they sent the CD. My brother thought maybe it was shameless self promotion for them? Revenge for getting his money back? Anyways, it's so strange!
