June Love With Food Box

Well, I decided to try the Love With Food box again. I canceled after the disappointing April box, but received a coupon code for half off if I wanted to try it again.

I figured for $5, it couldn't hurt and I'm actually glad I did! This box was excellent!

When I cancelled, the company, of course, wanted feedback as to why, so I filled out their survey and, maybe it's just coincidence, but with this box it seemed like they listened to what I had to say.

All of the foods in this month's box were foods I liked, weren't too out there flavor-wise and were mostly items I've seen in local grocery stores.
Sinfully Thin Blue Corn Popcorn - This popcorn was pretty good. It was soft and not too tough like yellow corn popcorn can be. My mom makes homemade popcorn with white corn, and this tasted pretty similar to that. The popcorn wasn't greasy or too salty either which was nice.

Raw Rev Glo Creamy Peanut Butter & Sea Salt Bar - I was expecting this to taste really good but it ended up tasting a little odd. Peanut butter is a pretty strong flavor and practically impossible to cover up, but in this bar you could barely taste the peanut butter! It is low in sugar (2g) and has 15g of protein. I did finish the bar, so it wasn't too bad, but I don't think I would go out and buy one.
Snack Factory Original Pretzel Crisps - These were actually really good! I always see them at the grocery store, but I've never actually bought them. They taste just like regular pretzels, just a little crunchier. Definitely very tasty! Great with dip or just by themselves!
Snapz Original Crunchy Premium Apple Crisps - These are okay.  I didn't think the flavor was all that great. I'm not really a fan of dried fruit in general anyways. I really like a crisp, juicy apple, so taking the juciness out is taking away the best part!

Biscottea Traditional Teatime Shortbread - I wasn't expecting to like this as I don't always like shortbread (they are usually too hard and don't have very much flavor) but this was actually pretty good! It wasn't as hard as I thought, still had a nice crunch but was light and buttery tasting. My opinions on shortbread has definitely changed!

Wild Garden Sundried Tomato Hummus Dip - I was quite skeptical about this hummus, I don't really like tomatoes, but this doesn't have a strong tomato flavor. It's not the best hummus, but not the worst I've ever had either. I put some on the pretzel crisps I received in this box, and it was good that way!
You Love Fruit Leather - These had a really odd flavor. I like all of the fruits in this, but for some reason together it just didn't taste all that great.

Torie & Howard Fruit Chews - These are SO good! Fruity candy can sometimes taste overly sweet and fake tasting, but these fruit chews are extremely good! The flavor is excellent, definitely a natural fruit flavor, and they aren't too sticky.
