Hello and welcome to my Five for Friday! I am linking up with Cup of Tea , Della Devoted , and Bright on a Budget!
1. That package I mentioned last week that I was anxiously waiting for? Well it arrived when I got home from work that day!
I found a great online shop out of the UK (Dorothy Perkins) and I was able to pick up a few great tops!
2. I'm not a huge video game person, but my sister and I have a few favorite games and enjoy playing every once in a while. We got the new Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens game from the library and have been playing it this week. It's so fun and one we'll definitely be buying sometime!
The Lego games are always fun because they always add funny stuff throughout the games. For instance, this was on Rey's speeder:
3. Did anyone else see the Buzzfeed list about the most popular ice cream shops in every state? The one in Idaho is about 8 hours away, so I definitely won't be visiting that one anytime soon! But I've heard of the one in Portland, and will have to check out the one in Seattle sometime! Ice cream is always a good idea ;)
4. I've been reading through the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone illustrated book and really enjoying it! The pictures are so beautiful! And the book is the British version, so that's fun!
I'm planning on buying illustrated version of The Chamber of Secrets when it comes out too!
5. In case you missed it, I shared some pictures from a lavender farm we visited and a post on what's currently going on!
Hope you have a nice weekend! Does anyone have any fun plans?
BB ON BOARD!!!!! So perfect! I have no real interest in Star Wars but BB-8 was definitely my favorite part of the new one! (Maybe because he kinda sounds like a cat??) And I had not seen that Buzzfeed list, so I was all excited to see if I'd been to the best ice cream shop in PA... forgetting that PA is enormous, haha. So seeing that the best ice cream is in Pittsburgh was a little disappointing. (Also because "ew Pittsburgh" is just a default reaction after so many years as a Philly sports fan, ha.) I'll try to recover. ;D Have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, that ice cream list is WAY better than another I've read before. In the other one, one of the states has Cold Stone as their best ice cream shop! (I think one of the Dakotas.) This is better. Salt & Straw is AMAZING and sea salt with caramel ribbons is def my fave. I've never heard of the Seattle one either and now I need to go!
ReplyDeleteI know! My sister were quietly sitting there playing the game when that came up. My sister was like "BB on board? OH! BB ON BOARD!" It took us a minute to get it lol! BB-8 was a great character! It's funny how you can love a character that doesn't even speak!
ReplyDeleteI totally get it ;) I think every state has rivalries like that!
Hope you have a great weekend as well!
Sometimes those lists can be so bad! I definitely wouldn't trust it if it listed a chain place! There's one list with the best fries in every state and the place in Boise they list as the best has the worst fries I'd ever had. Like McDonald's has better fries!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely going to have to stop by there next time I go through Portland! Sea salt caramel sounds SO good!
Oooh, the illustrated HP is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteMail day is always great! Ice cream is my favorite food! :)

It certainly is! Every page is beautifully done! I can't wait for the Chamber of Secrets Illustrated book to come out in October!
ReplyDeleteIt is! It's like a present from me, to me! ;) And you can never go wrong with ice cream!
