My mom and I have so enjoyed our times visiting the botanical garden. Each time we visit there seems to be something new blooming! I can certainly see us getting a lot of use out of our membership!
So many beautiful flowers. It's hard to pick a favorite. I love Dahlias and I've never seen one a maroon and white one like that before, so that's what I'm going with!
I'm not sure what kind of flower it is. There wasn't a sign for that one. It was with a bunch of other tulips and the center of the flower looks similar to a tulip so I'm thinking it might be some sort of tulip? I think the petals had just opened all the way. I've tried googling it several different ways and I can't find anything that looks exactly like it. I even tried doing a google image search on it and it just brings up a bunch of crocuses, which isn't right as I remember this flower had a long stem and leaves like a tulip. So I'm not really sure!
