1. I made some lemon curd last week, which means I had a bunch of egg whites left over, so I decided to give this white almond cake recipe a try. The cake was SO good! I will definitely be making it again!
3. So there was a bit of an awkward situation at work yesterday! My boss hired a PR company to handle all of our PR and social media and they thought it would be a great idea to take pictures of all of the employees. Do you even know how awkward it is to try to work while someone is taking pictures!?!
And then they were like, "We're going to take headshots of you all in your work environments!"
Of course I'm first so when the photographer (with his odd, off brand camera for the record lol) comes over, I look up and hope I look friendly enough.
Well, I wasn't quite so enthusiastic, but you get the point! I'm standing there, looking at the camera, waiting, and he's not taking a picture. A few awkward moments go by and then he's all "Oh, I'm taking a video."
Um. Thanks for letting me know sooner! So now there's probably going to be a really awkward picture/video of me on the company's website!
My coworker and I told our boss he couldn't post anything on the website without our approval, but I don't know if that will happen! (I know my boss would show us, but I don't know if the PR company will wait for our approval or not.)
Anyways, talk about awkward!
