1. Today is my sister's birthday! Unfortunately she is going to be gone all day long, so we have to wait until tomorrow to celebrate. She requested a funfetti cheesecake (she never wants a simple cake!) I didn't get a picture of it yet (it's still in the springform pan.) but I baked it and it didn't crack! Which, if you've ever baked a cheesecake before, you'll know that can be hard to do!
(I used this recipe, but with an Oreo crust and a couple minor revisions.) I'm very interested in trying it!
2. Target has had some great fall and Halloween stuff lately! I've picked up a few things recently. The little pumpkins have a light inside! I bought those and then went back to get some for my mom but they were all gone. The problem with the Dollar Spot is stuff sells out so quickly! You never know if something is going to be there again!
3. I finally got selected for another Influenster voxbox! It's been a really long time since I got one! (February was the last one, and it was just a single product one.) This looks like it's just one product too. Hopefully it'll be good though!
Is there a trick to getting them? I've seen some people get lots, and even though I post reviews, I almost never even get snaps or anything.
4. Does anyone else play Words With Friend still? I feel like I'm the only person who still plays! My siblings won't play with me anymore, so my mom is the only person I know who will still play. I've also been playing with the same random opponent for something like two years now!
Anyways, I don't always get a good word right out of the gate, but it's pretty nice when I do!
