Hello and welcome to my Five for Friday! I am linking up with Cup of Tea , Bright on a Budget, Della Devoted, and BYBMG!
1. It's been a little while since I've done a Five for Friday post, and that's mostly because we moved. To Virginia. It's a long story and the past month has pretty much been a nightmare (Only worse because we can't seem to wake up from it.) due to a bunch of things that should not have happened but did.
Hopefully things will get better eventually, but as it is right now we're still waiting.
(Also, not trying to be vague but I'd just rather not share everything publicly.)
2. So...moving on to lighter topics. My dad did not waste any time making friends with the squirrels. He put this squirrel feeder up and this guy likes to lay on top and just chill. He's done this several times and will just lay there for quite a while! It's pretty funny.
3. We went to Ikea last weekend to get a few things and the most annoying people ever kept following us. I mean, they weren't following us intentionally, but you know how it is. It was crowded since it was the weekend, but whenever we went somewhere they ended up right behind us.
It was this couple in probably their late 20's or early 30's who were DRESSED THE SAME. It was weird. But the most annoying part? She kept saying aesthetic.
"This is so our aesthetic!"
"This just doesn't fit our aesthetic."
"I just love this aesthetic!"
"We have to buy this when we have kids because I want this to be our aesthetic."
On and on and on. My siblings and I were looking at each other and laughing about it because it was so ridiculous. I mean, how millennial can you be?
4. If you know me, you might know I am a big fan of true crime podcasts. Up & Vanished is by far my favorite. It's really well done and definitely worth listening to if you haven't yet. (You can listen online here or anywhere else you can listen to podcasts.)
Anyways, season two starts next month and I'm pretty excited about it! They posted the trailer on iTunes and I'm quite intrigued.
5. And in case you missed it, I shared a review of my June Ipsy glam bag on Monday and on Wednesday I shared some pictures of when we visited Alki beach!
Hope you have a great weekend!
WHOA! I'm sorry you had to move so suddenly! But welcome to the East Coast! And that squirrel is ridiculous hahaha
ReplyDeleteYeah, it definitely wasn't an ideal situation. And I know right? Squirrels are so entertaining. haha
