2015 in review

I thought I would take some time today and do a little recap of everything that happened last year!

January
Nothing too noteworthy happened in January, I shared my chocolate chip cookie recipe, which, if you haven't tried it before, I would definitely recommend!
February
In February I shared a couple Valentine's day garlands (found here and here.)
I also shared a couple of recipes. Chicken and black bean enchiladas, and browned butter skillet cookie.
March
I shared some scrapbooking and my recipe for corn & black bean guacamole.
April
April started out pretty well when I announced that we were going to be traveling to Europe that summer!

I shared my poppyseed muffin recipe
And then we had a scary few weeks when my dad was life-flighted to the hospital in Anchorage with a burst appendix. As soon as my dad called (10 1/2 hours after it happened. No thanks to his job who never called and told us!!!) I got on a plane and flew up to Anchorage to be with him.

May
In May I shared some pictures from when I was in Anchorage with my dad. We were able to get a little sight-seeing in once he was released from the hospital.

We visited Turnagain ArmPortage GlacierWasilla and the Iditarod headquarters, and a few other sites!
June
In June I shared our trip over Memorial day weekend to visit my grandparents in Washington.

I also shared some pictures of the pretty flowers at my grandparents house.
I shared a recipe for a chocolate, raspberry, and peanut butter protein shake.

We also returned from our trip to Europe! And I shared our first day in London.
July
In July I continued on with the travel posts. I shared:
London day 2
London - Day 3 & The Harry Potter Studio Tour
London day 4
Paris day 1
Paris day 2
Paris day 3,
the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial
and Mont Saint-Michel and Dinan!
It was fun for me to go through all of our trip pictures and share them all! It was definitely the trip of a lifetime!

And while I never posted about it, I started a new job which I have been enjoying.

August
There was quite a few fun posts from August!

I took a break from the travel posts and share my Sunshine VoxBox.
Then I continued with the travel posts.

I started with Lyon, FranceMarseille, France, and then ended with Heidelberg, Germany
I also shared some more scrapbooking pages

We visited a lavender farm, took a trip to Seattle, and then we visited my grandparents again.
September
In September I shared a recipe on how to make cold brewed coffee.
I also posted about our Lake Cascade hike

I shared pictures from the Harry Potter party we had for my sister a few years ago.
And I shared some pictures of our fall decorations.

October
I posted a recipe for a southwestern chicken salad. Which is SO good and something we eat almost weekly!
In October my mom and I were in Wichita, Kansas for two weeks; and I shared some pictures from that. I did a post on the Wichita Botanica gardens, and some snapshots from Wichita.
I shared some pictures from our flight back from Frankfurt. And I did my first style post!

November
I didn't do a lot of posting in November, but I did post:

My 1 year blogiversary!

Our London itinerary Day 1 & Day 2 and Day 3 & Day 4.

and I shared a shopping haul.

December
I didn't do a lot of blogging in December either. I did post a recipe for quick and easy taco soup
Harry Potter Happy Christmas garland
And pictures of our Christmas decorations.

2015 was definitely a GREAT year for travel! I got to go on my first European adventure and we visited three countries, we went to Seattle, visited my grandparents a couple of times, and my mom and I went to Kansas for a couple of weeks. We flew in and out of Oklahoma City, so I am now able to cross Oklahoma off of my list of states I've visited!

I don't know what 2016 will have in store for us, but I hope it will be great!
