1. My birthday was earlier this week, so that was nice. I got some pretty flowers from my mom, and some nice presents from my family.
And then there's my birthday cake! I made a chocolate cake with Oreo frosting, and then I poured some chocolate ganache on top. It was pretty darn good!
2. If you are craving something chocolate, you need to go out and buy these Lindt peppermint cookie truffles! They are SO GOOD! We picked up these at Target.
3. I had to return a few things to Forever 21, so I was wandering around their store and came across this cute necklace! I like little birds, so this was perfect for me!
4. Did anyone else download Super Mario Run? What did you think? It's kind of fun, but you only get three levels to play for free and then it's $9.99 for the full game. Which seems expensive for an app. It's a fun game, but not $9.99 fun. Haha. I would much rather play on the Wii.
5. Last weekend we made some sugar cookies. Sugar cookies are a pretty typical Christmastime treat around here, and they're always fun to make and decorate!

I love all five things! I haven't decorated sugar cookies in years! I used to do it every year at my friend's house when I was a kid. Your bouquet and cake are sooo pretty! Happy belated birthday! :)
