Visiting the National Arboretum Part 2

We spent a good portion of our day walking around and exploring the arboretum. Everything was pretty spread out across the arboretum, so we walked a while and then got in the car and drove to different parts.

We just really had a fun time taking picture considering there were so many different flowers blooming! Cherry blossoms are one of my favorites, so I was really happy to be able to see so many different varieties and photograph them!
The columns featured below were at the US Capitol from 1828 to 1958.
If you are ever in DC around spring time, I would highly recommend visiting the arboretum! While the tidal basin is definitely the most famous place to see cherry blossoms in DC, the amount of people (and the rude, disrespectful, and obnoxious tourists) make it really difficult to get pictures.

The National Arboretum had very few people but was way more beautiful than the tidal basin was.

Have you ever seen the cherry blossoms in DC?
