Five for Friday

Hello and welcome to my Five for Friday! I am linking up with Cup of Tea , Della Devoted , and Bright on a Budget!

1. First off, if you haven't seen THIS video from the Tonight Show, you are missing out. It's so funny!

2. On Wednesday our small group went to a baseball game. We saw Boise's minor league team, the Hawks, play the team from Salem, OR. (I think their team was the volcanoes. Which is a weird name for a baseball team.) Anyways, the game was pretty boring. Boise lost, (honestly, I didn't care) Salem was a much better team and played a better game.

It was really hot though, which wasn't fun. It was in the 90's and we were sitting right in the sun. Despite that, it was still nice to get out of the house and do something.
3. My mom has been doing some sewing lately and she sewed me this cute zippered bag! I like organization, so I really like having bags to store different things in.
4. It's no secret that I love to bake, but bread has always been one thing I've never really tried. I really want to master a great loaf of bread. Earlier this week I decided to try making a loaf of rosemary bread, but it just didn't turn out quite like I had hoped. It was a good first attempt, but I wish I had listened to my own instinct instead of just following the recipe!

I didn't get a picture of it after I baked it, but this is what it looked like right before I put it in the oven.
5. In case you missed it, on Monday I shared our Father's day weekend recap and then on Wednesday I shared my June Target beauty box review!
Have a great weekend!

  1. Baseball can be pretty dull, and being in sweltering heat definitely doesn't help, ack! That bread looks awesome, though, even uncooked! Too bad it didn't turn out as you'd wanted. Hope you have a great weekend!

  2. It definitely can be very boring! The bread really wan't too bad (my family ate almost the entire loaf!) I just need to let it rise longer next time and not use so much rosemary! I used less than the recipe called for but it was still too much.
Thanks! I hope you have a great weekend too!

  5. Thanks! I really like it! It's fun picking out fabric and I'm glad I have a mom who sews, it's definitely handy when you need clothing altered or something ;) And the bread was pretty good! It just needs a little bit of tweaking and then I think the recipe will be just right!
