Five for Friday

Hello and welcome to my Five for Friday! I am Linking up with Bright on a BudgetDella DevotedBYBMG and Andrea!

1. I picked up this little bouquet of flowers at Trader Joe's a couple of weeks ago and thought they were nice. I like getting flowers at Trader Joe's because they are so inexpensive; these were only $3.99! I mostly picked this bouquet because I thought that round dark flower at the bottom was quite interesting looking. I don't know what kind of flower that is, but I'd never seen one like it before!
2. I received some Kristin Ess hair stuff from Influenster a couple of weeks ago and have been enjoying using the new fragrance free line. I'd never tried Kristin Ess hair products before, but I've heard good things about them. I like using natural/organic/clean beauty products so I was really interested in the fragrance free line. I got the Fragrance Free Daily Cleansing ShampooFragrance Free Shine Enhancing Conditioner, and the Fragrance Free Detangling Tonic.

So far I like all of it. I've had really bad luck in the past with natural/organic hair products as they always seem to make my hair extremely dry or extremely oily. But so far I've liked this. I have pretty normal hair (meaning neither dry or oily) and this has worked fine for me. My mom has tried it as well and she really likes it too!
3. We finally went and saw Just Mercy earlier this week and it was really good! It's definitely a very heavy movie topic wise considering it's about death row, but it's very interesting and definitely worth watching.

4. My sister showed me this meme and I thought it was too funny not to share! (I found this video if you are unfamiliar with the meme or just want to hear Drake and Josh saying MEGAN over and over.)
5. In case you missed it, on Monday I shared a Currently post, and on Wednesday I shared my Year of Photo A Day!

Hope you have a great weekend!

  1. What IS that round, dark flower?! At first I thought it was a zinnia, but what's up with the ruffled edges? Very pretty! Dark flowers are so gorgeous... and so annoying to try to capture on camera, haha! And when I was at the grocery store a few hours ago, my dad and I were cracking up over all the ridiculously dramatic headlines about Harry and Meghan on all the tabloids.

  2. I wish I knew what kind of flower it was! It's certainly interesting!
